Mooooooosic

has a strange effect on me, like alcohol, or any drug, it takes me into a world I have only limited control of. My moods go wherever it's notes decide to take me, they spring a fair few booby traps. Memories, conversations, melodies in my head.
Is it dangerous to listen to music?

dear samsarajade,

music is not dangerous - it's a true blessing! Yesterday I was raising my voice in worship with a crowd of youngsters, today I type with "Electric Ladyland" playing in the background. Whatever it is, just enjoy!

best regards

Mooooooooooooosic can be dangerous for me .

Well , not me , but others on the road around me if I've been listening to Rage Against The Machine in my van ....

Other times , the first song I hear of a morning can affect me the rest of the day ...

For instance , when I worked in a dairy , ' Wake Up Boo ' & ' Staying Out For The Summer ' had a very uplifting affect on my spirit .

But when I worked in a warehouse , not seeing daylight during the winter , Pink Floyds ' The Wall ' & ' Dark Side Of The Moon ' had me as morose and dark as an emo type young person from my.space ...

In essence , a little of what you like does you good ..
